Founded in 2001 by Margaret Erbe,  Erbe Arts is a discrete London and New York based art advisory firm offering educated and informed advice to clients interested in building their art collection. We use a wide and trusted network of contacts at galleries and auction houses to source the best available options and negotiate the best possible price on our client’s behalf. 

Margaret Erbe’s unique background allows her to offer both scholarly analysis and sound investment advice. Margaret earned her degree from Christie’s Graduate Program in Modern Art History and Art Connoisseurship. Following that, she worked as Vice President in Christie’s Estates and Appraisal department. She was a frequent lecturer on the Art Market to Christie’s clients around the country.  Margaret earned an MBA from Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College and a BA from Barnard College of Columbia University.

Margaret is a Partner of Via Art Fund, a Patron of The Contemporary Art Society London,  and a member of the Advisory Board for The Institute for Contemporary Art, Boston (2012-2018).
